Brew Soul Tea & Spices is rooted in authenticity, purity, and a deep love for tea. True to our name, everything we create comes from the soul—honest in intention and thoughtful in process. Our journey began as tea lovers, exploring India’s diverse tea landscapes with a simple aim: to share truly good tea, just as it is meant to be experienced.

What started as a personal pursuit soon became a purpose: to share teas that we have carefully found, tasted, tested, and trusted over time. Brew Soul is not just a brand for us—it is a reflection of our belief that good tea should be genuine, thoughtfully sourced, and enjoyed in its truest form. The idea grew organically, deeply rooted in this philosophy, giving rise to the name Brew Soul Tea & Spices.

Founded by Bhupinder Singh Manhas and his wife, Shreya Roy, Brew Soul brings together two journeys united by a shared vision.

Bhupinder, an IIM alumnus with over two decades of experience in the global IT industry, comes from Jammu & Kashmir—a region known for producing some of the finest saffron in the world. Growing up close to its origin gave him a deep understanding of saffron, its purity, and its many health benefits. From the very beginning, he was clear that saffron had to be a part of the Brew Soul journey, with a strong focus on offering it in its most authentic, unadulterated form, staying true to its source and quality. This pursuit of purity naturally extended into his exploration of tea, his long-standing interest in tea and its journey led him to explore the domain in depth. Driven by learning and extensive research, he decided to turn this passion into a meaningful venture.

A passionate biker at heart, Bhupinder loves exploring new places, cultures, and experiences—an adventurous spirit that reflects in his constant curiosity and approach to the Brew Soul journey.

 

Shreya was born in Siliguri, at the foothills of Darjeeling, and brought up in Pondicherry—two places where tea is deeply woven into everyday life. With family members closely associated with the tea industry, including tea auctioneers and tea tasters, she developed an intuitive understanding of what defines a truly good-quality tea from an early age. This sensibility became a major driving force behind Brew Soul’s vision of curating exceptional teas.

After spending over a decade in the corporate world, Shreya transitioned into a full-time artist and art educator. Her lifelong relationship with tea, combined with a keen eye for detail and a love for storytelling, naturally aligned with Brew Soul’s vision. She is the creative force behind Brew Soul’s packaging and visual identity, shaping the way the brand looks and feels. Her involvement in flavour development and quality evaluation has been instrumental in defining Brew Soul’s distinctive tea offerings.

In a rapidly growing tea market, we felt the need for a brand that values authenticity, flavour, and quality over scale. Brew Soul Tea & Spices was created to bring you carefully sourced teas and spices—pure, honest, and soulful.

At the moment, we are consciously limiting our range to the core tea flavours. Since true tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant, our focus is on perfecting the four main varieties that originate from it. Rather than offering many blends, we are committed to presenting the best possible versions of these classic teas—allowing their natural character, origin, and quality to shine through.
